Worm Gearbox

A low speed, with a controlled and quiet output, is required in many processing equipment. In our Ahmedabad factory, we manufacture worm gearboxes that provide high motor speed and convert it to smooth and stable torque. Our worm gearboxes are designed for applications requiring compact size and right angle drive applications. Worm gearboxes are commonly used in India for conveyor systems, textile equipment, packaging equipment, food processing equipment and small material handling systems.

We offer worm gearboxes with an aluminium body for lightweight applications; cast iron worm gearboxes for heavy-duty work; and stainless steel worm gearboxes for wash down or corrosion environments. The geometry of each worm gearbox is designed to provide uniform contact patterns for vibrationally free operation and a controlled temperature rise under extended working conditions. We select the mounting position, reduction ratio, centre distance, and shaft configuration for each unit based upon working loads to ensure consistent performance under the actual conditions found in the plant.
