Waterproof DC Gear Motor

The overwhelming majority of failures in outdoor machines is due to moisture ingress, not from a loading issue. Due to the environment, rain, washing down, humid air and more, standard motors would likely suffer damage in only a matter of months. That is why we designed and manufacture Waterproof DC Gear Motor units specifically for this issue. Our factory is located in Ahmedabad, but we manufacture for the whole of Gujarat and throughout the rest of India.

The housing of the motor has been sealed completely against moisture ingress. The sealing on the shaft has been done with extreme care since moisture ingress will usually come from there. The correct design of the fibre gasket and enclosure is used for both the actual design and application. The gear ratio selection is practical, meaning that if the torque requirement is too high, further reduction of the gear ratio will be used instead of overloading the motor, which helps eliminate overheating.

Waterproof DC Gear Motors are used in outdoor automations systems, solar trackers, mobile equipment, agricultural equipment and some small industrial applications. The voltage options are dependent on the customers needs. Also as part of the motor selection process, RPM and torque will be determined based upon the load cycle and duty cycle to ensure proper selection for the application.

All motors are tested for smoothness of rotation, noise level and temperature rise. No motor is dispatched before completion of the trial run. For customers in Ahmedabad, Gujarat or the rest of India we will provide full technical support and realistic delivery dates.
