High-speed servo motors typically require controlled speed reduction without drastically increasing the need for installation space. Excess output shaft RPM with low torque at the output shaft can sometimes be the result of direct coupling. Our Inline Planetary Gear Head units have been specifically designed to allow you to achieve the desired speed reduction while reducing the overall installation space.
Our factory in Ahmedabad manufactures Inline Planetary Gear Head units that can be used in many contexts and applications, such as automation and machinery throughout both Gujarat and India.
The inline mounting configuration allows for direct mounting with little adjustment necessary to align both the motor and the item being driven. This planetary gear arrangement also provides greater torque capacity while reducing stress to the individual gear teeth by transferring the load to multiple contact points.
Tight machining tolerances are maintained to control backlash — primarily in precision-driven applications. Each internal assembly will receive thorough inspection to ensure smooth and balanced rotation.
To recommend your gear head configuration, we will first assess your actual working conditions, including the following: motor power rating; required output speed; and the duty cycle for the application in question.
For pick and place operations, fast acceleration is important. For indexing machines, it is more critical to maintain a stable position than it would be for pick and place, so we take real working conditions into account prior to recommending a specific gear head configuration.
Before shipping, each Inline Planetary Gear Head is tested for both noise and vibration, as well as temperature increase during continuous operation under load. After testing of the Inline Planetary Gear Head unit, practical performance will have already been demonstrated and verified prior to shipping.
We offer customers from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and throughout India a reliable and effective planetary gear solution with all the required technical assistance and timely delivery.
