AC/DC Brushless Drive Wheel

The areas in which mobility systems fail most often are within the drive section. Drive wheel torque control and smoothness of drive wheel rotation typically impact performance even if the wheel has been aligned correctly. We manufacture a line of brushless AC/DC drive wheel units for long life and good movement stability. Our manufacturing facility is located in Ahmedabad and we sell to all parts of Gujarat and India.

Because the traditional brushed DC motor (having a brush) does require brush replacement, we use brushless motors, which decrease the long-term need for maintenance. In addition to lack of carbon brush wear, the brushless motor system provides overall better efficiency throughout the duration of the work cycle by generating less heat. We are very aware of motor winding and controller compatibility, as these designs are critical to minimizing speed fluctuation. Additionally, we will use different materials for the wheels depending on the weight of the loads being moved and the condition of the floor they will be rolled across. For use in industrial applications, we recommend wheels with a high density to achieve maximum grip and longevity.

Once we validate that the end user will be using the drive wheels on a specified type of automated guided vehicle (AGV) or material handling cart, we determine the amount of torque and revolutions per minute (RPM) required to achieve smooth acceleration on an AGV versus higher torque at a low RPM on a cart.
