Hollow Shaft units attach directly to the drive shaft, so no additional mechanical parts are required. This decreases the amount of time spent connecting components while improving the accuracy of installation. In addition, the internal planetary gear design allows for the load to be evenly distributed across all of the gears, which increases the torque capabilities of the system, but keeps the overall size of the housing as compact as possible. By controlling the machining tolerances, we can minimize the backlash between the internal gears and improve the ability to position the load accurately.
Our material selection and heat treatment procedures ensure maximum strength and wear resistance for the gear components. The lubrication chamber design ensures that there is adequate oil supply throughout the components, especially during continuous operation. Alignment and concentricity are also verified during assembly to minimize vibration under load.
