When the design of a machine requires the transmission of mechanical power via a straight line, straight line power transmission becomes imperative. The helical tooth arrangement results in a higher contact ratio between the gears and thus provides for less vibration during operation and more uniform load distribution even at very long periods of time in continuous operation. To accommodate the various speed and torque requirements of the equipment being driven, we manufacture these helical gearboxes in a variety of ratios, mounting orientations, and with a variety of shaft configurations.
