The flexibility of the spiral structure while still being able to provide excellent strength is an important design consideration. When determining the wire diameter and spiral pitch of a Spiralmesh Belt, consideration is given to the weight of the product being conveyed and the conditions in which it will be used. A higher grade of material is recommended for use on Spiralmash Belts that are used in applications for heat treating or baking to ensure that the belts do not expand. For use on washing or cooling lines, oxidation or corrosion resistance must also be taken into account when selecting materials.
The edge finishing of Spiralmesh Belts is done in a manner that eliminates the possibility of damage during rotation. The joining method of the belts has been aligned in such a way that they run smoothly on the sprockets. We check the flatness and dimensional accuracy of Belt Systems pre-shipping to eliminate installation issues on site.
