It's uncommon for machines to be in a straight line. Numerous automation systems have their motors positioned in a restrictive location and therefore, it is not feasible to use direct inline drives. To resolve these challenges with alignment and precision, we manufacture right-angle servo gearboxes. Our factory specializes in producing gear units in Ahmedabad and has shipped them to many differing industries throughout Gujarat and throughout much of India.

Straight drive applications require the transmission of power through an angle of 90 degrees while retaining accurate motion control. The importance of limited reverse play during servo applications is high, therefore, we utilize strict machining tolerances during both the cutting of gears and assembling the components. The rigidity of the gearbox housing is also tested because any flexing under load adversely impacts the same application's ability to maintain a true positional reference. We also monitor heat build-up during our tests since servo motors are capable of operating at variable speed.

We determine the proper gear ratio based on the torque requirements, load inertia and duty cycle of the application. In CNC and robotic applications, the ability to control movement with high accuracy is critical; whereas, in packaging and indexing applications, the need for repeatability is critical. Each customer is provided with expert guidance regarding their selection based on an evaluation of the actual job conditions rather than the use of standard combinations.
