Material slippage while transferring vertically or on a sloped conveyor causes a production loss. Traditional flat conveyor belts do not hold items securely when there is an increased incline; therefore, we produce Great Wall belt systems specifically engineered for improved grip and stability while moving products through demanding conveyor applications. Our manufacturing facility is located in Ahmedabad (Gujarat), and we ship to industries within the state as well as throughout India.
The Great Wall belt consists of sidewalls and cupped (or v-shaped) cleats that support materials during the upward transport process. Cleat height and spacing are based upon the size of the material being transported; closer cleat pitches for small items, increasing wall height for bulk materials to prevent spilling. The thickness of the belt is established after calculating the weight of the belt and determining its operating speed.
Our primary design consideration is longevity under constant operation. The strength of the belt joint needs to be tested properly because a weak joint will create an immediate failure. We also test the belt to assure it tracks properly in order to prevent shifting to one side or another during normal operation.
The Great Wall belt is excellent for transporting food, products in a packaging line, recycling materials, and material handling systems needing an incline for transfer. We have the ability to provide our customers in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and across the nation with reliable solutions for their conveyor belt systems and realistic technical assistance with timely delivery.
